Radio Gallery: Art for Earth Day

Your browser doesn’t support HTML5 audio

Saturday, April 23 is the Annual Art for Earth Day Gallery Hop in Duluth, when many downtown galleries including the Duluth Art Institute, Washington Artists Co-operative Gallery and UMD School of Art & Design, open their doors for a community-wide celebration.

It is a day of family friendly receptions, open studios, demonstrations and music happening from 11am - 5pm. Bring the kids, see art being made, and make some yourselves!  Washington Studios celebrate with music and family fun and the UMD open studio event never disappoints with hands-on activities, an affordable art sale, clay demonstrations and more.  I spoke with UMD Art History Professor Jamie Ratliff about the celebration.
