Women's Words on June 29, 2014 featured an encore airing of UMD graduate student Amy Lee reading two poems, "Feeding the Hungry," and "Voices, Crazling, Rattling."

6/29 Women's Words: Amy Lee

Amy Lee is a Graduate Student in the Masters of Advocacy and Political Leadership program at UMD and received her Bachelors of Arts in Criminology in 2011. In her free time, she is a community organizer and arts advocate. As a leader with UMD student organization Funk-SOUL Patrol, Amy helps provide Hip Hop education and awareness for the Twin Ports area and uses Hip Hop as a navigating tool in teaching philosophies.

Women's Words airs Sundays at 1:30pm and 3:30pm. Funding for Women's Words is provided by The Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
