One thing's for sure: people were talking about sexual assault last week.
Between Bill Cosby's sentencing to Dr. Christine Blasey Ford's testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee, it was just about all anyone was talking about, on and off the air and online.
On the one hand, PAVSA (Program to Aid Victims of Sexual Assault) was taking a flood of calls from people who were struggling with the inability to escape from memories of their own traumas, as every computer and TV station seemed dedicated to 'round-the-clock coverage.
But on the other hand, they were also taking a flood of calls from women who felt empowered to call and report their own assaults.
