The Alworth Insitute for International Studies at UMD presents The Brexit Revolutions” a lecture presented by Alworth Institute International Associate and former director Dr. William Henderson.

Brexit was a UK referendum vote for Britain to exit the European Union (EU). The dramatic Brexit vote passing was much to the dismay of the British Prime Minister, David Cameron who resigned the next day.  The task of implementing the Brexit, a two year process, is now in the hands of former home secretary, now Prime Minister Theresa May and is set to begin in March of 2017.  Listen for more about the implications of Brexit in the UK including Scotland and Ireland.

KUMD broadcasts Alworth International Lectures periodically throughout Academic calendar on Monday nights at 7.
