8/17 Minnesota Powwow Series

Ivy Vainio

August 17-21, Northland Morning will be sharing stories about Minnesota Powwows from our Ampers partners KOJB in Leech Lake, KKWE, White Earth Radio, KBFT; Boise Forte and more.

Powwows are traditional Native American gatherings that bring communities together, and going to a powwow can also open a window of understanding for non-native people. Listen each morning at 8 starting Monday, as Minnesotans help bridge a cultural divide by sharing their powwow experiences through stories.
