With patches of snow but not fully covering the ground, Larry Weber observes we are fully in "AutWin" the seasonal period between autumn and winter. Colorful leaves are falling though some are still changing. Ground animals are looking for places to hibernate, and birds are making their final migrations. Though the days are shortening, clocks will shift back one hour this Sunday, providing an earlier sunrise... and an earlier sunset as well.
