It's Valentine's Day and gifts are abound, and Tom Kasper has a few recommendations. "I'm going to try to steer some folks towards flowers," says Tom Kasper. "That's what I really enjoy giving and receiving on Valentine's Day."
Roses are, of course, the top of the list when it comes to Valentine's Day flowers, but don't forget about some of the other options that could provide a bit of originality. Carnations are a perennial dark horse, and sunflowers have been making a bit of a splash in recent years.
Beyond the realm of flowers, a houseplant can also be a great gift. Laceleaf might be high on your list if you're looking for something that screams Valentine's Day. "The leaves actually turn red and are shaped just like a heart," says Kasper who recommends going the houseplant route for those looking for a one-time gift that'll last for future Valentine's Days.
