In 2021, February in the Northland saw a stretch of about ten days when the temperature never got above zero. In 1996, February 2nd brought us the coldest day in Minnesota history. It was sixty below – a week later it was forty above.

February is a month of ups and downs and this year is no exception.

In addition to the cold winds, Larry Weber talks about the ravens beginning their mating season and the congregation at the suet feeder. Weber also reflects on a January that was poised for a record, but dropped the ball near the end.
