Too soon to tell if aut-win is but a memory, but the freeze-up has begun

Has aut-win run its course?

We won't know for a while, but in the meantime, freeze-up has begun on area lakes and ponds.

The November winds have taken the leaves off the remaining trees and bushes for the most part, and they're driving flocks of Canada geese, sandhill cranes and tundra swans before them.
