A year ago tomorrow, Duluth set a heat record for October 9. Quite a feat, especially in the midst of the 5th coldest October on record.
On October 10, 2009, Duluth got a substantial snowfall, which meant leaf-peepers got to enjoy the fall colors through a blanket of snow.
