Homegrown Music Festival

For those that have never had a Homegrown Music Festival experience, the upcoming Winter Fiasco will offer a nice sampling of what to expect. For others who know what's coming in April, the Fiasco might be considered more of an appetizer.

Jessica Fowler is one of the co-curators of the annual Homegrown Winter Fiasco. The event features fixtures of the Northland music scene while also highlighting up-and-coming artists. The one-night event will feature twelve different music acts and is free to attendees.

Each year, the Winter Fiasco invades a different neighborhood in the Twin Ports. This year, all events will be happening in Superior, Wisconsin. For a complete list of musicians, times and locations, visit the Homegrown Music Festival website.

You can hear Community Connection every Tuesday and Thursday at 8am on Northland Morning.

Luke Moravec is the host for Northland Morning on The North 103.3. He’s also a local actor, musician and writer. He loves puzzles, riddles and fun mysteries.
