Where's Art: Musings and More

Look for two new art openings this week in the Northland.

Adam McCauley and Sue Rauschenfels will both have work on display for an exhibit titled Musings at Lizzards in Duluth. "It's really interesting to see these two artists side by side," says Annie Dugan. For Dugan, pairing two artists together in this case aids in drawing out different imagery within the other artist's work. The exhibit opens on Thursday, June 13th from 4-7pm.

Artist Patricia Canelake opens Walking on Water at Duluth Pottery on Friday. Canelake's work focuses on people and animals exploring their connection to water. "She uses monotype prints, etching, paper plate lithography... to look at this really enigmatic connection that we have with the water." The exhibit opens on Friday, June 14th from 5-7pm.

Annie also has a brief summer reading assignment for those interested.

You can hear Where's Art every Monday morning at 8:20 on Northland Morning.
