Back Tracks: Three Music Questions with Ho-Yin Kwok

The Lake Superior Chamber Orchestra welcomes a new conductor this summer when they kick off their season in July. Ho-Yin Kwok has spent a lifetime cultivating musical talent and keeps busy with various conducting gigs around the country and the world.

Ho-Yin's musical history doesn't stray far from his classical roots. His first album was a choice made by a whimsical six-year-old. His first concert stemmed from a musical/medical mash-up. And his guilty pleasure song proves he's not above a drinking song or two. "It's something that just reminds me music is for everybody, and it's for every occasion."

Back Tracks receives support from Minnesota Power Employees Credit Union. You can hear Back Tracks every Friday at 8am on Northland Morning.
