Back Tracks: Three Music Questions with Mark Nicklawske

Christine Dean

As a board member for Sacred Heart in Duluth, Mark Nicklawske will be in attendance at this Saturday's sold-out Duluth Does Elton John event. With two grand pianos on the Sacred Heart stage, a night of Elton John covers was inevitable. If you didn't get tickets, but still want to see the show, the event will be streamed live on YouTube.

Mark elected to stay on theme with most of his Back Tracks answers, recalling an early Elton John 8-track and his first memories at Sacred Heart. His guilty-pleasure song, quite coincidentally, was also on point... and it's his favorite song of all time. "That's kind of a guilty pleasure when you say that's your favorite song."

Back Tracks receives support from Minnesota Power Employees Credit Union. You can hear Back Tracks every Friday at 8am on Northland Morning.
