If you enjoyed the first season of WDSE’s The Great Minnesota Recipe and are eager for season two to air, well, you’re in for a bit of a wait. The second season won’t be available for viewing until next summer. However, if you've been waiting for your chance to apply to be on the show, now is the time.
Isaac Quick, one of the producers of The Great Minnesota Recipe, is taking submissions from amateur cooks all around the state of Minnesota. Whether you’ve spent decades in the kitchen or you’re love for all things culinary is just budding, you’re encouraged to apply. “We’re casting now through the end of September,” says Quick. “We’re looking for people who’ve had some family history with cooking… or people that have taught themselves to cook.”
Equal to the culinary aspect is the idea of story. Quick and the other producers of the show are looking for interesting people that have stories about their journey with food. "We're looking for people that want to tell their story," says Quick. "We would love to meet with you and see what your life is like."
You can apply for season two of The Great Minnesota Recipe by going to the WDSE website.
