Shawna Gilmore

Duluth painter Shawna Gilmore joins us to talk painting and more this week on Radio Gallery.  Her current show Mischief and Other Tales is on display at University of Wisconsin, Superior's Kruk Gallery through December 11. Gilmore shares ideas and inspirations for her fantastical illustrative work as well a teaser about her upcoming February show at the Duluth Art Institute.

Former Program Director, Maija Jenson teaches journalism in the Department of Communication at UMD and was a part of KUMD 2008-2019. She hosted a weekly arts program "Radio Gallery." She shares a lifetime of public radio listening, degrees in journalism and art and 20 years of public radio experience with KFAI, WHA, WSUM and KUMD.
