10/7 Radio Gallery: Flo Matamoros

Flo Matamoros

This week we speak with Flo Matamoros, an artist and a member of the Prøve Gallery collective.  This month, Prøve Gallery celebrates acquiring non-profit status and a new group show called "Ripple Effect." The show's theme was inspired by the work of Sarah Brokke's and creates a connection with her new exhibit and Flo's work up soon at the Duluth Art Institute.   The show at Prøve Gallery opens on Friday October 16th with a reception from 7-11pm.  The success of Prøve Gallery has been a combination of tireless effort by a dedicated group of artists and a whole community coming together and showing their support through investment and attendance of their celebrations.
