8/3 Where's Art with Annie Dugan

Duluth Art Institute, from the collection of David Beard

  Annie Dugan, curator of the Duluth Art Institute and host of "Where's Art?" on Northland Morning, talks about the talk given tomorrow evening at 5:30 at the DAI exhibit, MN Comics: Paneled Pages from the Northland, which features several area comic artists.  Artists on view include: Peter Gross, Chris Monroe, Brent Schoonover, Barbara Schulz, Anders Nilsen, John Hoban, Clint Hilinski, Emi Lyman, and Conrad Teves.

Also, at the Zinema tomorrow night at 7, Duluth News Tribune Arts & Entertainment editor Christa Lawler will be presenting her selection in the "Zinema 2sDays Defender Series," wherein local celebs present their guilty pleasure, under-the-radar favorite film.

Chris Harwood is The North 1033’s Production Director and (acting) Program Director, a morning/daytime host, and the host of Soul Village. He is also a musician, a music historian, an audio engineer, and an avid record collector.
