Minnesota artists, Chad Rutter and Amy Toscani share the MAEP Gallery this month at the Minneapolis Institute of Art. Rutter joins Radio Gallery to talk about his show Floodplain.

The social commentary about our relationship with the natural world is just one part of Chad Rutters current exhibit. He uses a creative mix of materials and message to delve in to our surrounding landscape. His exhibit "Floodplain" along with Amy Toscani's "CHASTUSHKI" are in the Minnesota Artists Exhibit Program Gallery at the MIA in Minneapolis through June. Former Program Director, Maija Jenson teaches journalism in the Department of Communication at UMD and was a part of KUMD 2008-2019. She hosted a weekly arts program "Radio Gallery." She shares a lifetime of public radio listening, degrees in journalism and art and 20 years of public radio experience with KFAI, WHA, WSUM and KUMD.
