Textile and sculpture artist, Kristina Estell, speaks with Radio Gallery about her current installation exhibition, "Posture is Everything." The show is up through June 30, 2013 at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, along with Allen Brewer's "Verbatim."

Radio Gallery at the MAEP
Estell is a north shore artist, working primarily with installation pieces. For the "Posture is Everything" exhibition, she worked with rubber by forming it into multiple large, blue, silicon, sculptures. Estell the covered the walls and floors, layering these large silicon structures and creating an ethereal blue landscape. Listen as Estell discusses her ideas and motives behind this mystical rubber scene.
