Radio Gallery 10-05-2011: Robert Repinski

Robert Repinski, an Associate Professor of Art at the University of Minnesota-Duluth, joins Radio Gallery to talk about his work in print, and shares details about the UMD Art & Design Faculty Exhibition. His work generally focuses on creating reactionary work to voice political and social ideas, but the piece he will be displaying at the UMD Art & Design Faculty Exhibition will explore the idea of self-reflection. Repinski talks about how being a professor allows him to be a part of the dialogue within the classroom and continuously learn more about the evolutionary forms of media. The Faculty Exhibition will display many different forms of media, allowing students to see the creative efforts of their professors. The UMD Art & Design Faculty Exhibition from October 4, 2011 - March 4, 2012. There will be an opening reception on Tuesday, October 11, 5 -7 p.m.
